Panera Bread

I  loooove Panera Bread!   I used to order the Mediterranean Veggie when I was a vegetarian all the time!  I wanted the sandwich so I ordered it without the feta cheese!  Before lunch, I went on a really easy, relaxing walk.

Instead of chips, I got an apple.

Mediterranean Veggie sandwich with cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, cilantro jalapeno hummus, peppadew peppers, and onions.  The bread contains honey but I found that out after I ate the sandwich :/  I should have checked before hand.

It also came with a little pickle!  I am not sure of the calories since the nutrition information online includes the feta cheese!  I’m guessing around 580 calories.

Sleeping the Day Away

So I had thought I had enough sleep last night to pull off a cycle class but I was wrong!!  I crawled in bed a little bit before dinner just to rest my eyes and the next thing I know, it’s 12:30 AM!  I woke up to a growling stomach so I asked my mom if I should eat…

Spinach and Bell Peppers

Ezekiel bread, smart deli ham, mustard, .25 tbs Woodstock dressing, spinach, and avocado.

341 calories, 24 grams protein, and 12 grams of fiber.

Before I fell asleep, I had an afternoon snack of Pumpkin Hummus, Carrots, and Trader Joe’s High Fiber O’s.

309 calories, 9 grams of protein, and 13 grams of fiber.

I’ve really messed myself up!!

A Very Simple Sandwich

Boy, it is BEAUTIFUL in North Carolina today!  The thermometer in my car said it was 84*!! Also, it was so great to hear everyone’s oatmeal combos!  I definitely have some new ideas for the morning!  I’ll be asking some questions more often since you guys have some great ideas. 

For mid-morning snack, I had apple slices with cinnamon.

I have been craving a simple sandwich for lunch this past week so I went ahead and made one of the easiest lunches possible- Turkey Sandwich with Edamame and Broccoli Slaw on the side.

Broccoli Slaw (prepared the same as last night) with some Edamame.

Trader Joe’s Whole Wheat Bun with 4 slices Smart Deli Turkey, Spinach, and lots of mustard!

Lunch was 348 calories, 23 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber!

I’m going to make a quick batch of hummus and then go outside for a bit!

Very Filling Lunch!

I really wanted to get some fresh air today so I walked two loops around my neighborhood.  The walk ended up being 4.5 miles long but I swear it didn’t feel long at all!  I brought my water bottle with me and by the end of it, my appetite had returned!

For lunch today, I knew I really wanted some soup so I had 10 oz of Creamy Organic Butternut Squash soup.  I am buying this soup again, I need to write down the name brand so I can remember- it’s that good!

I also had a boca burger with mustard, nayonaise, and spinach.  I ended up picking apart the sandwich and dipping the Ezekiel Bread into the soup!

On the side, I had a mountain of baked summer squash!  You can still see the steam in the picture!

This filling lunch was 349 calories, 24 grams of protein, and 14 grams of fiber!
