I am in such a good mood this morning!
For breakfast, I went back to my trusty oats and coffee! Oatmeal keeps me satisfied for such a long period of time, I am starting to think they are magical

Oats, Flax Seed, Almond Milk, Fresh Strawberries, and Fresh Mango!
Mmmm, this fresh take on my morning oats comes in at 275 calories, 8 grams of protein, and 9 grams of fiber.

Haha! Such a cute post title :0)
Oatmeal is definitely a satiating breakfast-food; or “anytime” food! Your combination with the strawberries and mango is brilliant – love it! And it’s quite colorful :0)
Happy Wednesday!

I am in a good mood too and I’ll give you one guess to why we’re happy: SUNSHINE!

how exactly did you prepare this oatmeal? did you leave the strawberries in big chucks or cut them up?

Yay for sunshine!
JB- I cut the strawberries and mango into small pieces and threw them in the oatmeal at the beginning so they would cook into the oats. I put my oatmeal method in my FAQ today if you are interested!
VeggieGirl- Thanks! I was craving those two fruits and boy was it good!

Great recipe!
My only addition to your excellent recipe using flaxseed is, for myself I use Rejuv! for my flaxseed meal. It comes easy to measure and has added value of flax hull lignans which are concentrated. Great antioxidant and packed with Omega-3s. Easy to cook with. I order it exclusively from http://www. rejuvnow.com.
I use it daily in my smoothies. I’ve done the research and it is the best and superior to the flaxseed meal you get at a local health food store or enlightened grocers.
Thanks again for the great post.
